Dental implants have opened the door to a lifetime of renewed comfort and self-confidence for millions of individuals facing the frustration and embarrassment of tooth loss. Dental Implants are a revolutionary way to replace missing teeth with artificial teeth that look, feel and function like natural teeth.
Implants are a team effort between an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, the implant treatment coordinator, and a Restorative Dentist. While Dr. Dimmich or Dr. Bender performs the actual implant surgery, and initial tooth extractions and bone grafting if necessary, the restorative dentist (your dentist) fits and makes the permanent prosthesis (tooth or teeth). Your dentist will also make any temporary prosthesis needed during the implant process.
