Staff

Drs. Bender, Ehrens, and Dimmich’s staff are trained in assisting with I.V. sedation and general anesthesia within our state of the art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during their surgery with the latest equipment and techniques and after surgery are cared for in our six bed recovery room by caring and highly qualified nursing staff.

Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires a minimum of four additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training after obtaining a D.M.D. or D.D.S. degree. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Drs. Bender, Ehrens, and Dimmich manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. We practice a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from corrective jaw surgery to wisdom tooth removal. We can also diagnose and treat facial pain, facial injuries , and performs a full range of dental implant procedures.

Surgical Staff

The surgical staff at Lehigh Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery are experienced, certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants. Anesthesia assistants, who assist in administration of I.V. sedation and anesthesia, are trained to the standards of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Anesthesia Assisting Program. We also have registered nurses (RN) to assist in surgery and recovery room. All business office staff are highly competent administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies. Finally, all of our staff maintains CPR certification in addition to our doctors being certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
